Bored as we are during this nationwide quarantine, I am so grateful that the timing coincides with the oh-so-welcoming season of spring.

With less demands of the outside world, including the schedules of school, my kids are finding themselves increasingly being driven outside.

And it warms my heart in a very nostalgic and fulfilling way when its adventure and nature that they seek.

Lately Leif has been into graffiti and street art. He really wants to draw graffiti on every concrete wall that he sees, but of course I tell him that he can’t.

I think this is a socially acceptable compromise :)

Afterwards, I made him his favorite lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwich with potato chips smushed inside. I think he deserved it :)
