Hi!

Welcome to my little space.

Dollar Tree Halloween wreath

I definitely am not a scrapbooker but I love having a paper puncher. Mine is 1.5” and it worked well for this project but larger ones could possibly work well too. I found my paper puncher at a yard sale for $5 but they can be found on Amazon. I usually find them worth the investment.

With a paper puncher on hand, this wreath ended up costing me $2 to make! And I love how simple and modern that it turned out!

*Also this craft took me about 30 minutes to complete! About 10 minutes to cut out all of the circles and another 20 to glue them on! Definitely within nap-time constraints!

All you need is:

A large, black poster board paper (Dollar Tree)

14” wire wreath frame (Dollar Tree)

hot glue/sticks

wax paper to prevent sticking to your work place

Simply start by pre-cutting all of your circles. I cut side-by-side as closely as possible in a straight line up the paper without creating cuts in the first circle. Then I used scissors and cut a straight line to make a clean row to start the next cuts.

Next, pre-position{before gluing} with some of the circle cut-outs so you get an idea how far apart you like spacing.

To begin, heavily dot the tip of the paper with glue and attach to the outer rim of the first wire. As you go along you will start gluing the edge of the previous circle as well so you it can attach to the wire and the previous circle.

Once you finish the outer rim and begin the next inner wire layer you will set it at an angle and be using the outer rim circles to glue on and help support the inner layer.

The top layer will be glued on like the bottom layer; you will just glue on the previous circle for support.

Once you finish you can go through and lightly pull off all of the excess glue strings.

And you’re done!
