Dried pink roses

Roses are pink,

While I love to naturally dry out my flowers
Silica gel gives much more dramatic results, I think.
Honestly, bread pans are the perfect size for roses to dry in when using silica gel.
The process is the same and the drying time is the same but these fragile beauties are much more easily supported and contained than alternative methods.
As always, make sure that the flowers are fully submerged and covered for best results.
These fragile ladies turned out gorgeously-brazen and presumptuous in their dried and aged state. They are extremely delicate so they probably won’t be used in any dried floral arrangements but should work perfectly in a resin craft in the future.
