This project was inspired by the beautiful pinecones that I find by the college in my small town.

Me and my kids took a large basket to the college by the clock tower one fall day and cleaned up all the fallen pinecones.

I took them home and spray painted them with leftover white spray paint that I had on hand. Also their cute little pinecone bums… Don’t forget those too.

I was going to attach them to a long string to make garland but then I realized that it might be too heavy to hold up the string. So then I opted for some baker’s twine and tied them individually. That way I can stagger them from the beam on my ceiling for a more whimsical effect.

So pretty!!
