lovely finds
This is how I find new ideas for my next craft project.
I visit my local thrift store. But it's not your average thrift store as they don't accept donations so the items they sell are more treasure than they are junk. Price tag on all of this? $8.25!
Now I'm really trying not to brag about my lovely little bounty. But I do consider thrift store finds completely appropriate to brag about. I love to hear a good thrift store find story... Even if I do get a little jealous.
But it was really just all this pretty mirror's fault. I saw it and for FIVE dollars!! I definitely was in the right place at the the right time, I think.
Then I saw these spools of vintage silk in faded pastel tones. I can never pass up anything in pastels. And these beads... Different sizes, hues, and shapes, cute huh?! Judging by the packages, someone bought these in the 80's maybe? Such a small piece of someone's past now in my hands. I almost don't want to unwrap the retro packaging but, oh, I sure am excited to use them to create something in my Etsy shop...
What vintage excursions or thrift store finds have inspired you lately??
