Hi!

Welcome to my little space.

Homemade amazing stovetop fries!!

IMG_3229.JPG

I looove a good french fry but I've always looked to fast food restaurants for my perfect fry fix (except for Mcdonald's- yuck! Their fries have like 21 ingredients in them!).

I just recently discovered that stovetop fries are actually a thing and they are rOcKiNg my world right now. Not only do they rival restaurant fries but they are really easy to make and will NOT heat up your house to 425 degrees in the summer! Homemade hamburgers and fries, anyone?

Also, I cooked mine with olive oil and butter so that should add a plus or two in the healthy department, right?

Stovetop fries

3 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut french fry style

olive oil

butter

salt

seasoned salt

Use a cast iron skillet pan or stainless steel pan. Set heat to medium and add in 1/4 cup olive oil and two pats of butter. Add in potatoes and seasoning. Let cook for 20-25 mins, stirring occasionally.

Enjoy!

*I dip mine in 4 parts mayo to 1 part barbeque sauce!
