garlicky green beans

i rarely get excited over fresh green beans. Probably because they take a long, long time to cook and when they’re finally done, there’s not much flavor.

Until this recipe happened.

These green beans are one pot, low maintenance and only four ingredients.

Yet the flavor- classic buttery and savory, salty garlic infused into each green little bean.

These are amazing!!

2 lb trimmed fresh green beans

4 cloves minced garlic

1 cube butter, cut up

2 tsp salt

1/2 cup water

Combine everything in a wide, deep cooking pan and put the lid on (don’t forget the water). Make sure that the garlic is sprinkled and resting on the top of the pile of green beans so it doesn’t burn.

Cook on low for 25-30 minutes. Once tender, take the lid off add more butter and stir and continue to cook for five more minutes.

Utterly divine!!!
